Wellness Retreats & more at The Firefly

We are excited to offer curated RETREATS here at The Firefly. We would love to partner with you as an instructor! You bring the group, we will handle the schedule of activities, meals and island logistics for you. We make it super easy for you to teach and enjoy the island. We got you, logistics are arranged and handled seamlessly.

Yoga, fitness and wellness, SUP, surf retreats, dance & movement, writer’s retreats, diving, women’s groups, breathwork, food, spiritual guidance and bachelorette trips (if you have a different retreat in mind, get in touch!)

If you are a teacher/organizer who would like to bring a retreat to us, please send us an email for our info package and enjoy a fun & peaceful island experience with excellent food where you can make money doing what you love. Our covered yoga pavilion is an ocean front space with lots of uses! This space can be used for classes, presentations, private dining, meditation, workshops, music, and screenings! If bringing a retreat other than yoga and would like classes, we have an in house yoga teacher to incorporate into your schedule should you wish.

WHY The Firefly?

We offer a unique property with the ocean as our front yard and the jungles as a backdrop. Our pool faces the ocean & our vantage point is one of the only sunset views in Bocas. Guests have access to Bocas most beautiful island, Isla Bastimentos, with jungle hikes and best beaches being minutes only away, yet only an 8 min water taxi to Bocas Town. We also offer meals from The Firefly restaurant, know to be the best food in Bocas. All dietary preferences can be accommodated. Our bar/restaurant features seasonal dishes/cocktails all made in house. Our calm space, with the constant sound of the ocean, is ideal for yoga/wellness and body work.

Our property hosts small groups, 5-12, keeping your retreat intimate. We offer curated planning for your group, whether it’s hiking to our neighbor chocolate farm, island hopping, a medicinal plant walk/talk with local teas and facials, or massage, we have you covered. We offer experiences unique to us. We offer SUPs, beginner surf boards and snorkel gear to our guests. This is your retreat to decide, do as little or as much as you would like! Our hammocks are waiting.

This retreat is designed for besties & soulful travelers craving adventure and wellness—a balance of movement, exploration, rest, and connection, island-style.

What’s NOT included….
*Flight to Panama City (PTY) . Message us, we can help if you’re unsure about flight times. Please plan to arrive in Bocas before 6p on May 1.

If you have time in between flights, Grab a taxi to transport you to Casco Viejo which is the old city, the most artsy, hippest & beautiful old part of the city. You may have lunch and take in the sights before your afternoon flight to the island (a 45 minute flight on Air Panama). We will gladly give you lunch recommendations.

*Flight to Bocas Del Toro from Marcos A Gelebert Airport ( please note you will fly to the island out of a smaller airport than the one you flew into. It is about 35 minutes away from the international airport PTY. This airport is about 5 minutes away from Casco Viejo where you will be having lunch.

Payments must be made directly to The Firefly.

A deposit of half is due at sign up.
Balance is to be paid 60 days before arrival.

Cancellations made before the final balance is due, receive a refund of the deposit minus 50%
Cancellations made after the balance has been paid are non refundable.
